An ignition lock cylinder turns thousands of times a year. Over time the wafers inside wear down, and so does the key. The result is a key that sticks, has to be jiggled, or refuses to turn at all. Repair, Rebuild or Replace

Often the fix is simply a new key cut to factory specifications, because a worn copy of a worn key is the real problem. If the cylinder itself is worn, we can rebuild it or replace it and match it to your existing door key where possible, so you still carry one key.

Not a Key Problem?

If the key turns normally but the engine won't crank, the cause may be the battery, the starter or an immobilizer fault. We will check whether the key and chip are being recognized and tell you honestly if the problem is mechanical and needs a mechanic instead.
